Festival of Choirs in the Sanctuary

Chancel Choir

Made up of mostly volunteers, the Chancel Choir has showcased choral excellence for almost three decades. This choir has performed in a variety of music festivals including the Piccolo Spoleto Festival held annually in Charleston, SC.  The Chancel Choir meets and rehearses at 6:30 pm every Wednesday evening! Please join us any time, regardless of prior experience!

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir has joined in elevating worship services and special concerts throughout the church’s history. The choir performs a variety of music from classical arrangements to sacred anthems.

Children’s Choir

Meeting on Wednesday nights before the Wednesday night supper, this group works on developing singers from a young age into amazing musicians. Our children’s choir members also join in on our Sunday morning worship services periodically throughout the year.

The Trinity Orchestra

Made up of a variety of musicians from varying ages, Trinity’s very own orchestra helps to add an extra layer of beauty and nuance as well as a powerful emphasis to our Sunday worship services. The Trinity Strings ensemble, a subset of the orchestra, participates in worship almost every week bringing a variety of preludes, offetories, and an occasional Postlude to the table. These musicians are also apart of our Music Scholarship initiative which brings in local musicians from the area to join in worship.

My Promise to our church

For me, music has always been a way to elevate worship. When done well, you would be amazed at the impact and ways the spirit can move within us! My promise to Trinity is to continue its long tradition of excellence in music and strive to impact your worship experience. My goal is that our Anthems and Hymns can tie more into our scripture readings to help retell or explain what we hear each week. I challenge you all to listen each week to what we are singing about.  As a part of my role here, I have the pleasure of continuing to push the boundaries on what our amazing “in house” talent can do. We are all very blessed to have such an amazing music ministry, and I hope to be able to continue growing it with your help and contributions. I invite you with open arms to join me in one of our ensembles. I would love to make music together with you.

Warmest regards,

-Worth M. Lewallen IV
